Chart and Graph Notes

Chart and Graph Notes are now being posted. I already have individual powerpoint presentations created for each set of charts. I only need to create the notes documents which I will be doing over the next week. I will be posting a new set of notes each day.

Additionally, I updated my Chart and Graph Vocabulary this week. It’s a minor update with two new terms, two clarified terms, and a newly reorganized opening section.

One More Thing…

I have recently discovered the joys of commenting on the files in my box.net account. I will be using this feature to keep track of changes to files that have already been released. So read the comments on files you’ve already downloaded. Click the callout bubble icons to display comments. The number of comments is shown inside the icon.

Unauthorized Report Card Comments

These are actual comments made on student’s report cards by teachers in the New York City public school system. All teachers were reprimanded, but their comments are funny.

  1. Since my last report, your child has reached rock bottom and has started to dig.
  2. I would not allow this student to breed.
  3. Your child has delusions of adequacy.
  4. Your son is depriving a village somewhere of an idiot.
  5. Your son sets low personal standards and consistently fails to achieve them.
  6. The student has a “full six pack” but lacks the plastic thing to hold it all together.
  7. The child has been working with glue too much.
  8. When your daughter’s IQ reaches 50, she should sell.
  9. The gates are down, the lights are flashing, but the train is not coming.
  10. If this student were any more stupid, he’d have to be watered twice a week.
  11. It is impossible to believe that the sperm that created this child beat out a million others.
  12. The wheel is turning but the hamster is dead.

Spreadsheets Materials Posted

After finishing up Desktop Publishing, getting through the state-required mid-term examination, and having my school’s spring break, I am finally posting content again.

I’ve already uploaded 4 activities and today (Surprise!) I completed my Spreadsheets Vocabulary too. You can find all of my materials online in my box.net account. I haven’t got any notes finished yet and I doubt I’ll have any this semester, but I’ve begun compiling them.
